Whe ARE you? 1 or 2?

We all struggle with alternating versions of ourselves.
1). The image we try to hold of who we WANT to be, plan and hope to be.
2). The reality of the person our habits, expectations, actions and level of discipline, resolve, responsibility and determination creates.

Similar to the story about the two wolves in our heads,(good wolf, bad wolf) the one we feed survives.

Are your habits, actions, and discipline congruent with your desired self?

Being disciplined and diligent is hard.
Being less than you know you can be, desire to be is also hard.

So it will be tough either way, which result is more worth the struggle ?

True Dat

This is so so much! Years ago, I was told by a very wise man, regarding mood, attitude and feelings; “if you can’t feel it fake it until you do. “
And the concept of 12 step programs and recovery the saying is fake it till you make it.
Artificially projecting a mood or an attitude is absolutely a good way to alter from a bad place to a good place to repetitive action will eventually result in the false façade becoming realistic condition.
But don’t mistake. The lack of authenticity was being genuine. The real self will always shine through for others. Putting a mask on does not hide what’s inside.
Too many business people, politicians, celebrities, and those in authority have nothing but contempt for those they serve they go to great lengths to come across accommodating accepting and patient. Little do they know the true colors always shine through. If you’re in a bad place and you need to “act as if“ be careful not to sell that as genuine or authentic as your integrity will surely be compromised.
The true you will always show through.

Let it happen

Anything we chase, need, keep our focus as necessity will elude us as we are affirming that we are in lack of it.
Success, wealth, status, power, control all end up being our ruling master.
When we simply do what we love to do, immerse ourselves in our passion, and have gratitude for it, we will have peace and contentment. Share it with the world and abundance will flow.
In all things be still, be confident, be grateful and the universe will bow to your humility and magnificence.

Personal Power

The Stoic philosopher was spot on with this message!
The greatest power, most magnificent feat that is known in all reality is human CHOICE.
Each of us individually and all of us collectively and at times collaboratively make choices everyday and every second. The decisions we make range from; our opinions, perceptions, perspectives, attitudes, likes, dislikes, actions, inactions, focus, thoughts, expectations, beliefs, resolve and relations.
All of these are the seeds that sprout into experiences and foundation that becomes the structure of our world.
Physics confirms that this world of form and substance is made of energy in motion. Quantum theory and all spiritual knowledge confirms that the mind of man controls this energy.
Our choice is stronger than gas and electricity. (It created them) stronger than any explosive element, stronger than a raging river and a stormy ocean, way more powerful than the winds of hurricane and tornado.
Choice has shaped our world, designed our societies, determined our behaviors, and both United and divided us.
Epictetus did realize how true his message was.

Chicken or egg

All the theories and advocates of positive thinking teach us that our thoughts control our reality.
I do believe that, but what is more important is that our feelings, our emotions, our attitude, and expectation is what drives the manifestation of condition and experience in our life. This means we’re faced with a “ what comes first the chicken or the egg” situation
Do our thoughts, drive our feelings, or do our feelings drive our thoughts?
I would assume that continually thinking negative thoughts will create negative emotion which in turn will manifest negative conditions.
I have always wondered, however, what causes a staunch advocate of positive thinking have a mind filled with negative thoughts.
There’s obviously exposure to the external world. The sights we see the stories we hear the news that’s broadcasting and the rhetoric on social media. They all have an impact on our feelings and thoughts.
A really great news is that whatever the catalyst for the negativity we have at any moment the opportunity and power to change the thought and the feeling. The feeling will change with continued thought of conditions that create better feeling.
There is no dog to pet or a tree to hug or no beautiful river, lake, stream,or sunrise to create that joy. You always have the opportunity to recall past joyful experiences.
Feeling good is the seed for all desirable experience. Well thoughts will randomly come into our mind just having them will not cause us to experience the associated feeling unless we choose to focus on them, entertain them, and own them.
With all conditions of life we have choice. You are the master creator. Be it, do it, own it.

ONE

Right now, on your individual body, there are countless communities living, procreating and going through their separate life cycles. There are bacteria, enzymes, skin cells, bone cells, hairs, blood, antibodies, etc. You do not think of them as SEPARATE ENTITIES, yet they function without your awareness, in their own world, with their own agenda. Yet without them you fail to exist. THEY ARE A PART OF YOU.
Similarly, we each are a part of a family, community, town, country, company, planet ( infinity). There is no part where 1 thing stops and the other starts. All of live is connected as one organism, each individual component having a distinct impact on the whole.

We have a responsibility to live for the good of the collective of all creation.
ONE FOR ALL; ALL FOR ONE!

Inside out

We search in books, online, social media, classes, lectures and ancient texts hoping to find the light of truth.
We hope to discover who we are, why we are and what we are here for. We look for our purpose and calling.
All along the truth we long for has been inside our being. The light we are calling upon online ate the darkness of fear, doubt and uncertainty comes from our core.
This brilliance does not shine upon us but from us. We are the source and the target.
We must let this glow shine on the world we create.
I am not here to be enlightened but to enlighten, to be loved but to love, to be served but to serve.

Get real

As a projection of Divine Awareness into form, the unique collection of conditions that sets us apart is the authentic intention to experience the broadest array of diverse representations of the Ultimate Mind.
The freedom of embracing authenticity and individuality is bliss.
Too many dismiss their true self, passion and perspective trying to mimic others, blend in and get along. This behavior is in conflict with true identity and causes work, strain and stress.
Letting go and embracing the truth sets us free.
To be able to confidently claim;
That not for me,
I’m not doing that,
That’s not who I am is strength.
I Am that I Am

Swim away

The issues we face in life, our challenges and setbacks as well as any trouble that comes knocking at our door does not have a negative impact on us unless we choose to allow it to remain.
Regardless how debilitating (or magnificent) a situation may be, our perspective on it, decision about it, and reaction to it determines how it affects us.
There is no power outside of our minds that can determine our quality of life.
We are responsible. Owning this is personal power and freedom. Denying responsibility and assigning blame for that which is not aligned with our highest good is accepting victimhood.
Victims need rescuing. Such living is powerless and dependency.
Are you free,or a victim?

No plan

To be truly amazing and live lives of magnificence, people who genuinely enjoy life are those that live for the moment and focus on interests, activities and endeavors that they have passion for and also have benefit for all.
When we follow our inner passion there is no need to plan or set goals.
Do what you love, share it with the world and your brilliance will be a beacon for all.
