When we PAY attention to something, continue to keep it in our thoughts and have strong feelings about it; it becomes part of experience whether it is wanted or reviled. We spend our attention, thought and emotion to manifest our reality. We would not go to the store and fill our cart with items we do not want then take out our hard earned money and pay for them, would we? So why do so many squander our DIVINE CURRENCY with little to no intention. To live with INTENTION we must only spend the resources we have to create and manifest our reality on conditions that empower us. If you hate sardines don’t come home from COSTCO with 10 cases of them. MIND YOUR MIND! It is DIVINE, and the most powerful machine in the cosmos.
They say when you are living your passion you never work a day in your life. It was never written that we need to labor at tasks we find distasteful, boring, or even repulsive yet millions do so. After working 40-70 hours per week, we struggle to find time to engage in the activities that bring us joy. Those that find the way to marry the two have found their purpose in life. We have been imbued with talents, proclivities, interests and passions for the express purpose of using them as a means to serve one another. Life is collective of individuals with varying abilities all meant to play their part in the unfolding of collaborative community creation and joy. When we ignore our passions and undertake activities we are not aligned with just to survive, life becomes a labor intensive grind instead of the reflection of joy it was intended to be. Find your passion, or Taylor what you do toward it, and share your joy. Life will light up !
The experiences, events and conditions of our lives play out based upon our actions, choices and reactions. The so called “hand we were dealt” provides contrast and direction , a playing field of sorts, but our play is the determining factor in life. In all things we are responsible for the outcome. Be vigilant, be aware, be responsible.
In all things first cause is choice. Nothing that is anything was not first the result of someone choosing to focus it into being. Our personal experience and conditions are the product of our choice. We are not victims of our world we suffer poor choices and celebrate great choices. When we refrain from blaming the maladies we navigate through on the world and come to be accountable for what manifests from our minds, we take control and can live with intention. Don’t blame. Don’t complain. Live your authenticity.
In relation to sight, at any given moment in any random location there with be a collage of targets for our attention. Likewise with respect to our thinking mind. I don’t think I ever have, nor ever expect to encounter a person or situation where there is a claim that there has been nothing available to think about. (Wouldn’t that be nice🥰). With all of this opportunity comes choice. Just like walking through a grocery store with a shopping cart taking items off the shelf and placing them in our cart; our attention and focus is what takes the available condition and makes it part of our present condition. Firtst we are aware, then we choose. We focus and PAY$$ attention, have emotion and feeling about the subject and it becomes real for us. This is the building process of life. Everything we are experiencing has come to us in this way. We have the choice to take from the shelves in the aisles of possibility only what serves us. If it does not empower you: walk on by !
In every waking moment in this present form we call life; our consciousness is creating experiences based upon our level of vibration and accumulated awareness. If we advance with apathy into default activity with our focus on our familiar past, we deteriorate in mind and body. Our incarnation in this world is for the purpose of bringing value to the collective experience and growing in all manners. Seek knowledge, health, creativity, service, community, compassion, discovery and adventure or settle for routine, acceptance and devaluation through the lack of development and growth. We are either growing or deteriorating. Our point of focus and intention will determine the conditions we become enveloped in and all the surrounding attributes. Either they reflect joy through discovery and growth or misery and suffering due to the collective apathy and group think of a society being led and directed by the intentions of others. Life is meant to be authentic and unique with each individual’s awareness bringing a different component to the party. Seek, grow, develop and shine !
When we remain focused on the actions of others that we perceive as attacks or at least out of alignment with our sense of being,we are keeping ourselves in a very low vibration. We are elevating cortisol levels, perhaps creating adrenaline, all damaging our health. The individual, group or organization remains alive in our minds often unaware of the control we have given them. Our frustration is further exacerbated by our powerlessness to control the situation. This focus prevents us from feeling any joy and creating anything positive. Whatever the situation was it was certainly not worth the damage we inflict on ourselves over it. We end up doing more harm than the event itself. Is it worth it ? Let it go!
Our world reflects our inner self, continuously attracting, creating, and designing conditions and events that are aligned with our subconscious thoughts, beliefs and expectations, regardless of what our superficial desire may be.
We all live life in the moment even though our minds may be ruminating over memories of past events or projecting wildly into the future of what could or may be. Past and future exist only in the mind, as reality is physical, existing in form and substance, only in the present moment. We analyze our past, compare the experience to our feelings and determine what is needed to create awareness with better feeling conditions. These plans become our desires.
There is always the universal need for nutrition, shelter, security, and relationship, but each of us assigns varying components and levels to those needs. After which we load in our desires.
An American psychologist (Abraham Maslo 1908-1970) created the hierarchy of human needs. The lower need are Biological, then Safety & security, after that comes love, companionship and relationship followed by ego/esteem of respect, recognition and accomplishment, the highest level of self-actualization is to reach one’s highest potential.
We all have these emotional conditions always running on autopilot. As for the consciousness of these desires, we are only usually aware of the ones we focus upon.
There are many things we want, most of which are born of the lack of them and/or the fear of living without them. Some are reasonable, many are ego driven fear based and irrational desires. A good portion of what we long for, we know at our core we cannot manifest, yet we live quietly with disappointment and call it hope.
Most of our stress and anxiety is the result of our desire and reality being out of synch. Living with longing, regret and disappointment is painful. We research, plan, take actions and still find our dreams elude us. This leads to increasing lack of confidence, low self-esteem, and eventually fear which creates ill health as we spiral downward wondering why we are being punished.
Truth be told, this is all self-inflicted. There is no punishment being levied, no denial from God, or forces working against us.
Our inner subconscious thoughts and feelings related to those thoughts create the vibration that determines our state relative to each situation. Thoughts of fear and panic related to financial instability will keep us in a cycle of attracting more instability, while the feeling of gratitude about the abundance we DO enjoy will attract more reasons to be grateful. Likewise, Joy and elation over radiant health, tells our bodies to continue functioning flawlessly while concern and dread about failing conditions, send negative signals to our DNA that results in more of the same.
The prevailing contradictions are that we desire what we do because we lack those conditions, yet we experience the lack due to our own vibration and expectation. In short, regardless of our need or desire, no matter how strenuously we chase after an experience, we will never get any more than we are. Just as water always seeks its own level, so too do we. We get what we feel inside, not what we want consciously.
When we improve our state of being through mindfulness, gratitude, compassion, outreach and acceptance, two things happen: 1), many of our desires disappear, 2) those things we still desire to bring more value to our life will materialize with minimal effort and stress.
Change who & what you are to get what you think you want if you still want it.
We all have the desire to make a difference in our world. Thoughts of having a positive impact on others release endorphins that elevate our mood. Some may have plans, most have ideas and we all would certainly like to help others in distress. These undertakings are the ones ones that usually fall into the category of; “when I get around to it”. Perhaps are goals are too lofty and plans too aggressive. We can make a difference with a smile and nod at a passing stranger, holding the door for someone coming behind us, allowing that Subaru to merge in front of us, or buying that box of Girl Scout cookies. 2-3 of those per day add up quickly and the good feelings they generate travel exponentially around the globe. Plans and intentions are wonderful but action even st the smallest level outshines the noblest, most aggressive intention if it does not materialize. Do something small and insignificant today and realize you changed the world. Don’t plan it. Just be aware when the opportunity presents itself. It will be soon.
What we offer to the universe comes back to us from the world as our experiences. Our vibration attracts conditions, people and events that are aligned with our present state. When in high vibration of love, joy, gratitude and confidence will yield successful events of joy and prosperity. Engaging in anger, hate, judgement or even violence will deliver pain, frustration, and mayhem of all kinds. Look around. What do you see today? Well, that’s what your vibe is asking for. Start with gratitude and clean out the muck before starting the day. I am grateful to be able to share my thoughts.
