In the Tao te Ching it says “ when the student is ready;the teacher will appear” Jesus taught: Matt 6:33. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” All of this wisdom shares the common theme instructing us that willingness and choice precedes wisdom. Everything we can possibly experience was a decision we had made. All life was chosen into being.
While gratitude is a positive emotion that raises our vibration and setting us up for more blessings in our life, expressing our appreciation to another for the impact they have in our lives has the same dopamine release for the person we share with. This is a double blessing and when both repeat it with others the exponential affect can circle the globe. We never know how we have altered the lives of others and consequently the world since we plant seeds with every encounter and move on. The difference between nodding to another driver trying to merge in front of me on the road and giving a nasty look and edging them out when exponentially extrapolated is daunting. Appreciation is the best choice. How many can you take with you on your journey toward joy today?
In the quantum field of possibility nothing exists except particles and waves. They hover around, waiting for our attention to assign them into shape and form. We give this assignment to the universe with our choices, expectations, and emotions. Nothing, (no thing) exists until thought gives it life. If we change the way, we think, we will change the world we see. Not only will our individual life change, but all that we observe will also be different. Choose wisely!
DESTINY FULFILLED. Deepak explains how one’s purpose unfolds and an impactful life of meaning is expressed through the individuated portal of Divine Awareness known as you. You are more magnificent than you know. Never compromise your authentic self by settling. Allow your dharma to reflect from your soul.
Sometimes it seems that life is about searching. Searching, seeking, pursuing, and chasing something or another consumes us all. Some of us are looking for love. Many of us are desperately chasing the almighty buck. There are people the never stop trying to gain power, and some more esoteric souls are hoping to find meaning and purpose. I know people that are doing all they can to find peace and contentment and some are actually looking for trouble. When I was younger, all I wanted to find was sex, drugs, and rock and roll. After I grew up a bit, 1 needed a wife, a home and Kids. After a while the home needed to be bigger, and the cars newer, so still I chased.
These things are all desperately vital for all of us. They consume us and give us purpose. The truth is that we aren’t really looking for any of them. If I was asked, why do you need: a bigger house. I would say so we could have more room. “Why do you need more room?” I would say to make my family more comfortable. Then: Why do you want your family to be more comfortable? I would say so that they enjoy their home. Then I was asked why do you want them to enjoy their home? I would say so that they are happy. Then if I was asked, why do you want them to be happy, I would answer because it makes me happy.
There you go! I’m not looking for a bigger house, I am looking for happiness. This same process of drilling into the “Whys” will always end up with the search for happiness. No one ever wants the power, the money, the person, the object or the condition. They believe that attainment of it will bring them happiness. We are all looking for happiness.
I’ve found that there is no condition external to us that will bring us, show us or cause us to be happy. Once we reach a goal, we will always be looking for the next one. External conditions and things are never going to be the source of joy. Joy has to come from within the core of our being. Happiness and true joy come from the souls and once realized will affect the external conditions ad draw to us all the situations that align with our highest good. The bible tells us” Seek ye first the Kingdom of God an all these things will be added unto you.”
Happiness doesn’t depend on outward conditions. It depends on inner conditions.”
– Dale Carnegie
“Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
Imagine chasing a butterfly in a garden. It moves slowly and with grace, yet you cannot catch it. It will always elude you. Once you stop, sit and be still, it will come and land on your nose. This is the same for joy. We all need to give up the frantic search, there is nothing to find. What we are really trying to discover is who we really are. Once we understand that the spark of Divine Awareness that creates worlds flow through us all, connects us and creates from our thoughts, we will realize we need nothing but to be mindful of the miracles all around us.
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
While I find myself seeking so many things in this world as a means of expression, the underlying drive is to know myself. As I know myself experiencially, I remain within my self imposed limits. My true self is limitless, the knowing of which transcends experience directly into joy. END GAME. I AM!
Along with this quote: Pain is to comfort Fear is to faith and safety Hot is to cold Hate is to love Violence is to peace. Chaos is to calm Resentment is to forgiveness Lack is to abundance All the conditions we we work do hard to avoid or reverse are the catalyst for everything we desire. Without these situations being prevalent in our experience somewhere, sometimes even tangentially or on the periphery of life, we not have any feeling for the opposing situation. In an odd way, all we abhor and repel as repugnant are necessary components of life and pieces of the puzzle without which the picture would be incomplete. There is no “ GOOD OR BAD” until thinking makes it so. – Hamlet
The life I project is born in in my mind. All experience is the result of my thoughts, focus and expectations. There is no thing that I can encounter that was not previously a product of my thoughts. The entirety of the diversity in my awareness is the result of all existence being created and added to collective experience by individuated reflections of DIVINE MIND. Life is God projected through the myriad possibilities filtered by individual thoughts. Everything is ONE THING filtered through an exponentially growing variety of lenses known as thoughts. “I think therefore I am” (cogito ergo sum). Renee Descartes
Chasing anything is verifying my lack of it. I will never catch it. Joy and happiness needs to be allowed to shine and everything else good will come from that. Happiness is the realization of life as divine and events as perfection not a goal to be accomplished or a prize to be awarded. There is nothing out there that creates joy. Happiness is at the core of my being.
Living in perfect harmony and joy must be amazing. Had all of humanity experienced such life, there would be no form, matter or substance. Divine mind, along with the collective of all the multitudes of unique projections of it, created life in form as response to the contrast of perfection. Life unfolds in a continuous action of seeking perfection. The Garden of Eden is metaphor for original state of absolute DIVINITY, and life is the journey back. Every component of every experience is a response to a challenge of sone degree. The greater the challenge, the more magnificent the response. The obstacle IS THE WAY. The challenge IS THE PLAN The problem IS THE SOLUTION Imperfection IS PERFECTION. ( it says so; I’m perfect)
