Bass-Ackward.

The expectation that improving life conditions, reaching goals, and achieving security will bring happiness and joy is misgiving.
Conditions will not bring joy if there is unhappiness inside.
Joy and happiness are the byproduct of gratitude, acceptance and love. The outward demonstration of these feelings will actually RESULT in creating the improved conditions previously thought necessary to bring joy.

The Other Side of DARKNESS

Most noteworthy inventions and creations were the result of attempts to solve a problem. We find out how strong we are when times get tough. We learn and grow as we work through our struggles. All of this difficulty was necessary to make us who we are.
Much of our technology and innovation would not exist if if was not for our troubles. Certainly none of the amazing non-profits that do so much good in the world would have been formed if the founder did not suffer a related struggle.
None of the spectacular medical breakthroughs would exist had there not been suffering.
Embrace all challenges as opportunities. We are always stronger and brighter on the other side of darkness.

Superglue

We are born into this life with the illusion of separation. We navigate through our experiences and Traverse, the landscape of space and time believing that we are disconnected from all that is around us.
We were infused with the strongest possible drive to bring us to the understanding of the unity of all things. That attracting force is love. It is the unifying agent and bonding substance of all that is
Localized, love for a few components of life and family members is good, the brought of the scope of our love the more magnificent. Our experience of life would be.
Universal, unconditional love, is the steppingstone to complete joy.

Affirmation of expectation

Our minds create our reality based upon our subconscious program. As we get older (the periods in our lives where finances and security become important) we are still attracting and expecting condones according to information digested repetitively in our early years. It does not matter that we’ve read, listened to, or attended programs that have enlightened us. Once the program is burned into our mind, the only way to undo that is by refusing to feed the specific narrative, and replacing it with a preferred one through repetition with emotion attached.
Until our subconscious mind gets the message of the joy associated with the information being planted, it will not become our new reality.
Affirmations can accomplish this if they are done regularly, with serious intent, total belief, and joyful emotion, and expectation.
Morning gratitude List, combined with positive affirmation can alter the trajectory of life.

Powerlessness Is Power

We can’t control the weather.
We can’t control the economy.
We can’t control the actions of others.
We can’t control the government(we can contribute, but results are not in our control)
We can’t even control our families.
Most of the time what we see will not be aligned with what we desire. This will cause frustration and anger stemming from the feeling of powerlessness.
We CAN control how we react.
We CAN control what we dwell on.
We CAN control how we feel about conditions.
We CAN control how we interpret conditions and what we take from them.

When there is nothing we can do there is joy and doing nothing.
The realization of powerlessness is real power.
If there’s nothing I can do about it, it does not need my attention. That frees me to focus on things I find empowering.
Freedom is Power.

Launch Pad

We can enjoy lives of Intention that are aligned with our highest good if we manage our thinking and control our point of focus.
When we act upon our desires for life as opposed to react to external conditions created by others, we will experience authentic conditions of personal creation.
We are the creators of our lives. We deserve to craft them to our own design.
Joy starts from the launch pad of gratitude. Success is born out of joyful thoughts.
Start your day on the right track.

Password

Know that our thoughts and point of focus and concentration will determine the condition we experience and the outcomes of all of our endeavors. It is important that we only entertain those that empower us.
Many thoughts will enter our mind as we navigate our way through the day. Much of it will be fleeting, a significant amount will be negative. We need to keep the gate of our concentration closed and only allow in those thoughts that knows the password.
That password is peace, love, success, abundance, freedom, and unity.
Do not open for anything else.

Being Well is Well Being

While feeling good should be our default condition,It is not maintained without intention. One mustn’t have to work hard for well-being, but we need to be aware of the conditions we allow ourselves to be exposed to to safeguard our peace and our health.
Health and wellness can be easily lost if we become complacent and fall into negative habits.
As with everything in our experience, our thoughts, expectations and perspectives will determine the outcome.
Be well, stay well, live well.

It’s in there

“He makes me furious”. “ that news channel really makes me angry”. “ I have a coworker that drives me crazy”.
“The bills have me livid”.
WRONG! The anger is already in there.

The story of The Empty Boat by Thích Nhất Hạnh

A monk decides to meditate alone. Away from his monastery, he takes a boat and goes to the middle of the lake, closes his eyes and begins to meditate.

After a few hours of unperturbed silence, he suddenly feels the blow of another boat hitting his. With his eyes still closed, he feels his anger rising and, when he opens his eyes, he is ready to shout at the boatman who dared to disturb his meditation. But when he opened his eyes, saw that it was an empty boat, not tied up, floating in the middle of the lake…

At that moment, the monk achieves self-realization and understands that anger is within him; it simply needs to hit an external object to provoke it.

After that, whenever he meets someone who irritates or provokes his anger, he remembers; the other person is just an empty boat.

Anger is inside me.

🌷

The story of “The Empty Boat” is a Zen Buddhist parable that teaches the lesson of self-reflection and the importance of recognizing the source of one’s emotions. It highlights the idea that anger is a feeling that arises from within and that external events or circumstances only trigger it. The monk’s realization that the boat was empty helped him understand that the cause of his anger was within himself, and not due to the actions of others. The story serves as a reminder to look within and to recognize the role of one’s own thoughts and emotions in shaping our experiences.
