Chicken or Egg?

We all have heard about the famous philosophical quandary about what came first, I’m sure. This conundrum is related to an immutable fact called “Cause & Effect.”

Every THING, (object of physical matter, situation, occurrence, relationship, condition, event or even feeling and health perspective is an effect. The law states that every effect has a cause, and likewise, all causes create an effect.

Just a fashion designer cannot put a piece of clothing together without a vision, thought, inspiration and plan, or an engineer put a bridge in place without a thought of one, a design vision, a sketch, blueprints and specs. Not even a shark would be able to attack its prey until it becomes aware of its presence, creates the intention to feed, plots its course of action then attacks. Nothing can have its existence without the predicate cause. Nothing happens by accident, or chance.

Now in keeping with the realization that whatever it is we are experiencing, while perceivably universal, perhaps far removed from us, or up close and personal, it is undeniable that WE are experiencing it.  The effect is now upon our life, which means, there must first have been a causal thought, fear, expectation, awareness or even unconscious desire, fear, dread or hope, for such a situation or it could not have happened.

As for health, wealth, success and relationships, we absolutely are where we are because that is where we think about it all the time, that is how we feel about the situation, it is also the topic of our conversation. It is difficult to accept that any tragedy we may suffer, witness, and encounter was based upon our conscious cause, but it could have been the result of a news story that caused a disdain for such situations and/or planted a fear. If followed up by conversation with others, then random thought, whether benign or coupled with intense emotion, it will plant a seed none the less. Nothing can enter our experience that we do not have some prior thought and emotion about even if we are not completely aware of it.

PROVERBS 4:23 Be careful how you think, your thoughts create your reality.

Jesus, The Buddha, Lao Tsu, Saint Germain, Confucius, and thousands of enlightened Masters throughout time all teach that as a man thinks, so shall he be. They all impress that faith, belief (which is communicated to our subconscious mind by our thoughts), determines the outcomes of our lives.

The critical point here is that what we think about, discuss, complain and focus on each day, is the seed for the experiences we will encounter. Our expectation is 100% delivered to us just how we fashion it in our mind. Way too many of us spend all of our time and emotion focused on conditions we absolutely DO NOT WANT, then wonder why they are finding us as we claim victimhood.

The truth if you will is so simple; if we train our minds to only think, speak, daydream, and focus on conditions and situations that are aligned with our strongest desire for our best life, (and the lives of our loved ones and entire planet), come to believe that such a reality is normal, feel good about it and spread this perspective, then we will individually start to know a world that resemble our highest good.

I am sure that while most people will claim the world the encounter is not a world they would design, they will also admit it is just what they expect. Therein lies the problem.

So, what came first? Our misery, or our focus on misery? Our success, or our repeated attitude and expectation of success. The inexorable truth is always thought precedes manifestation.

Mind your mind to uncover the beauty that is possible. All magnificence lies within!
