An Inside Job

“FAKE IT ‘TILL YOU MAKE IT”
“ACT AS IF”
“BRING THE MIND AND THE HEART WILL FOLLOW”

Sounds like a bunch of tired old platitudes! Truth is; these banal statements are the foundation of our journey toward Joy. When we emerge from life in the reactive mode, being tossed about by the intentions of others, and begin to design our own blue print…, we need to start with them.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. ( Winston Churchill)

Find a place (inside) where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.
~Joseph Campbell~

In order to create the life we long for, or attract conditions of our intention we need to visualize these conditions from a place of joy. If we have doubt about the end result, we will not get what we are intending but what we are afraid of.
When we dream, long, wish, hope, plan, or intend, we must first find something in our life that we are grateful for. Focus on the gratitude until we feel a little lighter. Then reach a bit further, and think of something that brings a smile to our face. Hold that thought a while. Now while in a more joyful attitude, focus upon that which we intend to happen, while feeling the joy of it already being real.

Mark 11:24″Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”

WE NEED TO BE “THERE” ON THE INSIDE, FOR THE OUTSIDE TO GET THERE!

The Journey IS the destination.

I WANT

I WANT

John Rodgers

We all have needs and strong desire, Our natures such this is our drive

This quest of ours will take us higher, Or maybe just keep us alive

It seems the thirst can not be quenched, Our needs once met produce two more

We strain and toil till sweat has drenched, Though rich and full we still feel poor

The ceaseless call to gather more ,Constructs the chains that seem to bind

Our prison cell immortal chore, Offers no relief of mind

At times we dream of freedoms feel, To want no more and be content

Some how though it does not seem real, To end the task so Heaven sent

The inner push to grow and change, Has caused us to create this space

Desire has led us to arrange, All particle that’s in this place

It seems to keen observant eye, This dance may have been by design

Our world and all that pass us by, Could not have been prepared so fine

As we observe both then and now, By chance to gaze at what is to be

The truth of being is just how, This is the world we’re meant to see

The Point from all desires birth, The source of want and its supply

Has laid this plan and gird its worth, Ensured creation does not die

The Grand I AM has set this motion, As intent to know all that is

Experiencing both land and ocean, Enjoying mine and yours as His

Without desire we have no creation, Wanting has been good for all

Each life, and land and spacious nation, Are here as answers to our call

Our wanting may at times confuse, Driving peace just out of reach

Realizing we’ve been made to use, As tools for God, whose lessons teach

Desire’s such choice yields creation, There would be no here without this song

I AM expands without cessation , Confirming want cannot be wrong.

MIND VIRUS

Virus: 4) something that has a corrupting or poisonous effect, especially on the mind

Like attracts like.  Whatever the conscious mind thinks and believes.  the subconscious identically creates.
~ Brian Adams
Whether we are aware of it or not, our thoughts, (when focused upon with conviction) become emotions ( E-Motion/ energy in motion) which drives the attraction or creation of our experience. We cannot send out positive and negative energy simultaneously. It may very well be a beautiful day, hair looking great, car washed and purring like a kitten, cash in the wallet and sun overhead, but any time, without notice; BAM! The dark cloud of negativity will strike. When it does, we do an immediate 180 degree turn, and go about spreading the curse like wildfire. The viral properties of COMPLAINING, have taken down many a beautiful day and sent it to the depths of hell.

It is human nature to lament our displeasure with conditions that don’t “jive” with our sense of calm and our plans. However, that only robs us of the present moment ( pre-sent moment) of joy. Once we begin to voice our displeasure, we spread the virus globally. Every day in every way we are apt to encounter conditions that do not please us, or nourish our sense of well-being. That is by design! Diverse, contrasting circumstances are fodder for our creative process. All of life is the creation of the universe ( uni-verse; One song sung collectively by all). We are here to create joy. Creation is achieved through the sending forth of vibration ( emotion) and manipulating matter ( energy) to take the form ( life in-formation) of the matching emotion. When we are confronted by distasteful conditions, they are the catalyst for either our gratitude for the opposing reality, or the creation and/or attraction of it. Example:

There is a fork in the road. To the left; rocky muddy, moldy ground, steep incline and sharp curves. To the right; level, mildly serpentine, scenic road with flowers, streams, and smooth terrain. I choose right! I have just created a joyful reality that has added to the unfolding of the UNIVERSE. Had I stood and bitched about the left road, lamenting over why it is in need of repair, and criticizing those that maintain it, even if I chose the right path and bantered about the left while I travelled, I would have just created “hell on earth”. Then should I decide to inform everyone, my hell has just gone viral.

Thoughts are boomerangs,  returning with precision to their source. Choose wisely which ones you throw.

Think Right-Live Right

Every intention sets energy into motion Whether you are conscious of it or not. ~ Gary Zukav ~

This quote from Gary Zukav has the key message that eludes most, “Whether you are conscious of it, or not”.

There is so, so much in our world that does not appeal to us. Being debt, being ill, being alone, being overweight, being in the wrong job, or unemployed, not the right friends, city, town, crappy car, etc, ad-infinitumn. The misnomer is that these circumstances are thrust upon us without our control. We believe that we are powerless, or at least only partially responsible for their existence in our lives. We may even believe we are victims of circumstance, dealt a bad hand, raw deal and so on. We throw up our hands and claim that this is our lot in life.

Then one day we hear some “self-help guru” spewing about “The Law of Attraction” and how we can have everything in life we want, as long as we believe we can. Oh boy, here I go, Boats, mansions, supermodels, hamburgers made from real beef, everything anyone could want. But hey, I tried, no good, it’s all crap.

Here’s the “rub”!

Prayers, affirmations, visualization, intention etc, all work flawlessly. Like the Genie in the bottle, our wishes are answered in kind. We must be ever so diligent with our minds, knowing that the Genie is always listening. The genie responds to: CONTINUED FOCUSSED THOUGHT WITH CONVICTION AND BELIEF STRONG ENOUGH TO GENERATE EMOTION! THAT IS WHAT THE GENIE SEES AS A REQUEST.

The problem is; if I’m poor, and can’t pay bills, I need $$$$! But instead of my thoughts being on $$$ flowing to me in an unending stream, feeling the joy & relief of financial security, I keep looking at my bills and feeling scared, desperate, impatient, practically begging God/Universe/ Cosmos, to save me by sending me $$. What is the focus there? Lack! What is the emotion? Fear, what does the genie send? Lack, pain, poverty!

Instead of taking responsibility for my plight, I blame society, the government, my upbringing, and focus on all the reasons why I am like I am, then close my eyes and try to “wish it away” Not going to happen!

What we focus on expands. What are emotions are born from is our prayer. We need to focus on what we want as if we already had it. Feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled. Abundance, health, relationship, peace and Joy will come to us once we believe it. To believe it means to feel it first, the Genie will send it.

By choosing your thoughts,
and by selecting which emotional currents you will release
and which you will reinforce,
you determine the quality of your Light.
You determine the effects that you will have upon others,
…and the nature of the experiences of your life.
Gary Zukav
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.~ Mark 11:24

NOW

BE HERE NOW!
The thief of my peace and contentment is worry & regret. Worry has me living in the future. Regret has me living in the past.
NOW IS ALL THERE IS. FUTURE AND PAST ARE ONLY THOUGHTS. We can act now based on information gleaned in the past. We can act now based on plans for the future. WE CAN ONLY ACT NOW!

We can easily manage… if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday’s burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it. ~John Newton

Eternity is not something that begins after you are dead. It is going on all the time. ~Charlotte Perkins Gilman

No matter how hard we try, we cannot get out of NOW. It always is, and always will be NOW. We live in the present moment. It is the creative canvas that has been (pre-sent) to us as a gift (present) to create joy with. Too much joy is sacrificed in the name of regret & worry. The avenue to peace and contentment lies in the joyful appreciation of the pre-sent present called NOW. Now is when every-thing gets created. Nothing was made in a past moment or future time. All That Is, is, NOW!

Forever is composed of nows. ~Emily Dickinson

When all of our focus and is on what we are doing in the moment, the skill with which we do it increases exponentially. A good move to watch that illustrates this is; “Peaceful Warrior” The Dan Millman Story.

Life is to be lived in the moment. I cannot change the past. If I am doing the best I can “NOW” the future will be the best it can be. Always living for then, means life is passing by only in the mind. The age old mantra: ” when I have this, or when I get that, when I meet her, or get that raise,,,,then I’ll be happy” keeps joy at a distance, contingent upon outside influence.

Be happy for what you see & feel THIS MOMENT, and you’ll see a funny thing happen: You’ll get that raise, meet her, get this, find that. You see, all the conditions we think will bring us joy at some later time, will only come to us if we are expecting them FROM a place of JOY!

PRESENT MOMENT JOY IS REQUIRED TO CREATE FUTURE JOY.

When the human organism
is discharging its negative experience efficiently,
the mind is empty of past or future concerns;
there is no worry, anticipation, or regret.
This means that the mind is left open to Being,
…the simplest state of awareness
Deepak Chopra

With the past, I have nothing to do; nor with the future. I live now. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Pre-sent Present from Divinity

I’ve seen before and ponder later, but I’m doing those things now

They‘re both confined to my abstract thoughts, that the present does allow

It seems no matter where I am, what I do or how I feel

The present moment is always here, it’s the only thing that’s real

Divinity sent it to us as a canvas to create our bliss

Looking at what’s past or yet to come will cause us to surely miss

The pre-sent moment consciousness is infinite for sure

It’s always now & never then though the future has some lure

When we focus on what is truly real, what we see and feel inside

This now may be for planning aspects of our future ride

But now demands our focus, and attention that we not miss

Living in the pre-sent moment is the only path toward bliss.

Blinded by Arrogance & Indifference

There are many of us “Seeking” God, seeking truth, striving to uncover the mystery of the ages. Religion has us believing that God intentionally obsured the vision of majesty from our eyes to keep us from attaining higher & higher levels og grace.

‘HOGWASH”! ( Is there really such a product as hogwash?)

The Adam & Eve story, ( as the parable of The Prodigal Son & The Wizard of OZ) Tells the story of how God, individuated into a variety of form, endeavoring to have diversity & contrast as a pallet from which to create,( as existing in absolute perfection is void of the possiblity to create as there is nothing more appealing than perfection to choose) chose self (ego) over the collective common good (service),and as a result began to focus only on the product of it’s own creation, becoming blind to the sight of Grace, and the magnificence of I AM.

As with every human condition we consider to have been thrust upon us, this was self inflicted. No punitive action has ever been perpetrated by Deity against Man. All we know, all we see, all we do not know, has been by the individual hand. In so much as God is the core of our very being, everything there is to know is within us. We have shrouded ourselves with a cloak of arrogance and inddifference, then claim,”God doesn’t want us to know” and set forth our quest for the Holy Grail.

I say,” Choose Love, and all be become visiable”

Truth is a choice, not a destination, and not a reward.

Thou Do Not See

Fear not my brother where thou shalt liveth, There’s ample room beneath the sun

Our Makers thoughtful gift was giveth, To all of us not just The One

This place in which all brothers dwell, The spot I think to call my home

Could be ‘bout any where we tell, Our bodies to rest from whence we’d roam

The secret that my soul is hiding, Truth to me sometimes revealed

All place and action in God abiding, Causes fear and pain be healed

I seek to find my hidden truth, As life’s meaning may elude

I rest from earnest thought and sleuth, A sudden peace tries to intrude

When thought provokes my mind to still, It dawns on me no answers veiled

The truth I seek with such strong will, Tis there’s no question to be hailed

All answers seem to lie in waiting, For the asker to awake

To the simple truth creating, We know all for heavens sake.

God hides nothing from our faces, We’ve erected veils of stone

Glories’ wondrous love and graces, To us all is easily shown

Beneath the sun the room I dwell in, Has been fashioned in my mind

The life of which all of us fell in, As our own eyes have left us blind

As you see all thee in grace, There is no truth that we must seek

For all we know of time and space, Shall be revealed when love we speak

What you see,,,,,

What you think,,is what you see.

WHAT YOU YOU SEE, IS WHAT YOU GET!

I was in the gas station today filling my bike and buying a scratch-off so I could afford to fill my truck, when a stranger tapped me on the shoulder. He was a scrappy looking guy in his late 20’s who looked like he had it pretty hard. He had a big gash on his head, and looked like he was hung over. He commented about a saying on my shirt. He said it was real! I was wearing a shirt I received on a mission trip to theDominican Republicto build schoolhouses and churches for the sugar cane workers living in the field villages they call Bateys. The saying was from Margaret Mead, (a cultural anthropologist who was a popular speaker in the 60’s & 70’s, and activist for social change). The quote reads:

“A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has”.

I agreed with him that the quote speaks volumes, and we went about our business. Later I was outside filling my bike after an unsuccessful scratch of 2 $5 tickets, when he appeared out of nowhere. He looked distraught and claimed:

“Why is the whole world like shit? Why can’t more people be like that quote? I am trying to turn things around; I am so tired of all the shit! I guy came in my house and put a gun to my head, then my little boys head and took all our money, I gotta stop this shit. I guess I have to give my life to God or something.”

I told him that the whole world is not shit. I explained that for every person doing unsavory things, there are a dozen people living good lives, and a few making a positive difference.  The good out weighs the bad, but we can only see what is around us. I went on to explain that a life filled with violence, pain, drugs alcohol, gangs, and mistrust is a lifestyle choice. These conditions don’t just show up. I told him how my life was like that in my teens and twenties, and then I changed my intentions. I have not had violence and mistrust in my life for over 25 years. When I look around, I see the good in people and the opportunity to contribute when negative conditions arise. He was surprised to hear that not all people live in pain and grief. My explanation was that is was not necessary to go to the extreme of “Giving his life to God” but only change his thoughts. When we think about “getting” at the expense of others, and chasing after our own fulfillment regardless the cost, we end up where he is. On the other hand, when our thoughts and intentions are more toward contributing, helping, and giving, after a short time, all of the people we associate with, and surround ourselves by, are like-minded. The world has not changed, but what we see has. We can open the paper, or turn on the TV and see that there is still plenty of shit,,,,but it is not OUR SHIT, NOT OUR LIFE! We all live on the same planet, breath the same air, and we all eat, shit, and eventually die. That does not mean we all share the same life. Same world, same city, same town, perhaps same family, but life is an individual experience defined by our thoughts & intentions, and created by what we believe. I can cruise route 63 up to Falls Village and say: “Dream ride” you can take that road and say it sucks! Some guys like doing 120 on a crotch rocket on the highway, I like doing 50 on the country road. We all have opinions, we all have intentions, we all believe things to be a certain way. When we change our outlook from “me, me, me, fuck you”: to; “how can I help”, all of a sudden, the sun comes out and life gets better. If you say the world is shit; it is because your mind is shit, change your mind and your life will follow. The world may be the same, but life will be different. Positively Speaking, “THE JOURNEY IS THE DESTINATION”

It’s in there!

The road I’m on has twist and turns I navigate with skill

Squeeze the clutch and kick my heel as I approach another hill

Is this ride a burden, or a pleasure I face with joy

The answer lies within the mind of this crotchety ole boy

I start my bike and head down the drive by choice not task or need

The roads I ride and pace I take are as my soul agreed

The life I see as pavement passes has been fashioned in my mind

I choose to ride, I choose to serve, as I see the road unwind

I have created all of this there is no one to blame

If all I see is gravel and pot holes and feel shame

Then I must check my inside and change the way I think,

Or else the life I’m living is guaranteed to stink

The road that lies before me, is created in my mind

My thoughts and best intentions are the seed of what I’ll find.

MY EPIPHANY

Many have said when describing how they have been affected by their experience of mission work or any extreme altruistic endeavor: “It has changed my life”! It is difficult to describe just how, or to what end, or what degree. I am sure it is different for everyone, and the result even tends to vacillate regularly within most. We have profound moments of awareness, and then bounce back to “business as usual”. For me, I can truly say I have had a Spiritual Awakening. This transformation has taken hold and settled in for the long haul. Although prior to my connection with The Congregational Church, and my trip to La Romana, I was previously on an indeterminate Spiritual Journey of self-discovery, things seemed relatively consistent with my attitude, personality and perspective.

During the blustery autumn months of 2000, Pastor Gordon Rankin invited me to participate in what has now become the single most defining undertaking of my life. At the time, I was ignorant of what was to come, and even though the effect was immediate upon my return, it has taken several years for the magnificence of the transformation to become clear and mature. I guess you could say I was both “Hit with a brick” yet it crept up on me. I find dichotomy in most aspects of spiritual truth.

When on a mission trip, you can never avoid the lively discussion surrounding whether we are “doing this for THEM “, or if the action is solely selfish and meant for us to “get something” out of it. I was very vocal, and very opinionated on just that topic. Prior to this trip I had never put pen to paper in any creative way, nor had I ever attempted to deliver words and sentiment that originated from the sacred place from which all encompassing, unconditional love emanates. Having experienced a personal transformation of boundless proportion, I can confidently say that all actions are meant to be self- serving, though disguised as selfless. When we change ourselves, we change the world. It is true that we can only change ourselves, which is the divine dichotomy.

What I found while going well beyond my comfort zone, putting my life and well being in the hands of strangers that by all outward sign were backward according to my life experience, and trusting only in our intent to make a difference, was the profound truth of Being. It took extreme contrast, and dire need, the pain of poverty and the joy of unconditional love, the powerlessness and futility of the individual, coupled with the limitedness of collective collaboration, to introduce me to MYSELF! I capitalize that as I mean my “Higher Self”.

I have discovered that within the depths of our soul, the Spirit of The Divine Creator resides. WE are all expressions of God. Life as we know it as individuals is the extension of the Hand of “The Almighty” The Alpha & Omega unfolding in form to collectively express joy. For me,,,this is the meaning of “Life”: (TO COLLECTIVELY USE OUR GIFTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE INFINITE UNFOLDING OF THE JOY OF BEING).

You see, on a daily basis we work, provide for our family and ourselves, interact with friends and strangers, oblivious to what is occurring. When we encounter the far end of our comfort zone, the broader spectrum, riddled with pain, sorrow, need and tragedy, we put ourselves aside and truly use our talents to make a difference. In this light we are making a selfless contribution to the well being of the common good. With any ego or self-serving agenda obscured, we feel the bittersweet joy of compassion, and the Spiritual perfection of our soul connecting with others as no physical material condition is running interference. This is why the tears come to our eyes, the lump forms in our throat, and we feel the raw, cutting edge reality of Joy. With our illusory concerns, petty agendas, and misdirected perspectives aside, the Divinity within can spread its “ANGEL WINGS” and fly! This is the point where have “found ourselves”. What we have actually uncovered is the Spark of Divinity, which is at the core of all being.

I am willing to bet that many have experienced the same change in perspective but are not able to find words to pin it down .As the years have passed, I have been sufficiently blessed to recognize how every action, word, deed, is a contribution to the collective experience of the Divine unfolding of Grace in form. Whether we fix plumbing, build bridges, fill cavities, or write comic strips, our actions are meant to be selfless contributions toward the “Common Good”. A perfect scriptural reference would be 1st Corinthians 12 (Spiritual Gifts).

On that life affirming day in La Romana, when I saw wings on all my fellow travelers, and light shining from within them, I knew truth. I now understand that we live to serve, and by serving, we are served. I can see that every act is a collaborative inclusion in the dance of the cosmos. It is apparent to me that our purpose is that we each add a patch to the quilt, or a tile to the mosaic of what is. You have to give away love to keep it, and forget yourself to find your true identity. This is what is meant by dying, to awaken to eternal life.

I returned from that trip with a poem in my heart. “Where Are All The Angels” came through me drenched with tears of joy and self-discovery. Since then, I have written scores of poems, worship components, reflections, blogs and articles, all with the underlying message mentioned above. So for this reason, I can truly say my life has taken a different direction.

My greatest joy in life is expressing the depths of my soul through word & poem. My new vision on life is one of unity and togetherness. WE are all in this show as One, expressing the potential of The Almighty through our individual and collective creations. For this, I am profoundly grateful to Gordon Rankin, The Congregational Church, Good Samaritan Mission, and the people of the La Romana Bateys, Barrios, and hospital.

Only in heaven will we see how much we owe to the poor
for helping us to love God better because of them.

Positively Speaking

I KNOW, I KNOW,,,,I KNOW!

How many times have we repeated the phrase, ”I know”? It is most used when answering a reminder regarding poor judgment, previous plans, intentions, or actions. It seems. (as far as what we should be doing or being), that we already know the deal. Eating that 3rd chili dog when we are prone to heartburn, or going out in 2 feet of snow with sneakers on, or maybe even, trying to get home when the gas gauge says empty because we think we can squeeze another 2 miles out of it? This is normal. We all fall prey to it. WE KNOW BETTER! WE INTEND OTHERWISE! SO WHY?

Why do we end up so often in the midst of situations, actions, & experiences that we do not intend, when the fault is 100% ours and we know better? Some will ask: If “The Law Of Attraction” brings you what you want most, think about often, and truly believe in,,,,,then how do we get where we got?

This immutable “Law” of both physics & spirituality, never waivers. Wherever we are, whatever  we encounter, most surely came from within our own minds and vibration. There is no other way for anything to be created.

There are differing degrees of “want” There are a variety of levels to intention. We as humans are continuously seeking pleasure, or at least freedom from pain, which is pleasure. There is nothing anyone ever wants or desires for any reason other than the thought of getting it would make them feel good. Our creative drive and purpose in life is to express, feel, and share joy, and as such all actions are attempts at just that. With each and very thought we have a choice. Our choices bring us to the next thought which comes a the result of the prior. All actions create feeling. All actions have consequence. That is the Pain/Pleasure paradigm.  Example:

I am 50 lbs over weight and have trouble tying my shoes, walking up stairs, and participating in sports I love. This is the pain of my situation. So, I intend to shed the weight. The pleasure of accomplishment would be, to be back at my old weight and enjoying life again. Seems simple, “I know what to do. I know what I want, I know how to do it!

Why don’t we do these things when we KNOW? There is pleasure in the pain, and pain in the pleasure. We all need to weigh the level of our endurance, and sacrifice, then determine which “pleasure/pain scenario” yields the most joy. This discernment is mostly bantered about in the subconscious mind. Our task, “should we choose to accept it”, is to intentionally weigh the levels prior to undertaking any significant changes in our lives. Example:

1)    I have pain from being overweight. (Fact). I will experience pleasure from losing weight! ( Fact).

2)    I currently take pleasure in snacking and resting. ( Fact). I find exercise and dieting to be somewhat painful (Fact)

Since we are “hardwired” to creatively seek pleasure and eliminate pain, it is difficult to unconsciously move in the more painful direction, in spite of best intentions. Does the elimination of the “Pleasurable snacking” & introduction of the “Painful dieting & exercising” exceed, the “Pain of being overweight”, or the “Pleasure of easily tying shoes and participating in sports”? This is the war our subconscious mind is waging when we: forget to floss, eat a whole tub of ice cream, sleep late, never check our oil or tire pressure, put together the new widget without reading the instructions, put off a major project at work until the last minute just to spend time on FaceBook. WE all encounter these situations. Then when asked we say, “I know, I know”!

What we need to do is rate our pain, pleasure level in a given situation intentionally. Then decide which one is the real priority. Then post reminders, make lists, and be purposefully aware. Our subconscious mind will act solely on the “feeling” messages the conscious mind sends. We need to disrupt those, and re-program if we ever intend to change our behavior for the better. Remember, we got where we are because it was more pleasurable to do so, even though we didn’t realize it.

Positively Speaking; Weigh your Pleasure, Weigh your pain, if you wish to realize gain.

Not as they appear

Things are not as they appear

In my mind I need to know, the truth of who I am

Endlessly searching, stretching, pushing beyond the scope of my understanding

Just to know

I understand I am not who I appear to be

I Am that I Am

I believe this to so

Viewing all I have created, realizing I am part of the mosaic of life

Creating, searching, longing to know

Discovering all are one, I am That

Still, a fleeting feeling touches upon the compassion of my soul

Creating, searching, longing to know

I know! Still, I search

Something is amiss, something does not fit

Many parts, one existence, a place for everything

My turmoil is that of being out of place

There is no place I need to be

Creating, searching, longing to know

I see what lies before me, lies the lot

I kid myself that this is true. I’ve created lies

Only to know truth

Truth amid the lie, a dream within a dream

A shroud of iniquity boldly adorned, falsely contrived

Only to know, to create, to search

Desperate to know, knowing but not

Believing the lies I’ve created

Only to know them as lies

The truth I share I cannot live

Searching, creating sharing what I know

All is as I have created it. It is. I am.

I have created it to discover it

I’ve masked it to uncover it

I’ve hidden it for the thrill of the search

I destroy it only to create

It seems I need something, there is nothing that will fill

My need is to create my need.

Fulfillment comes only through need.

I have found, then discard the search endlessly

All that I see I have fashioned from the stone of ignorance

My creations are not as they appear, only the need is real

Connect, entwine, reunite

Creation is sharing light

All That is I AM, I am the light.

I seek to find only myself amid the crowd of illusion

All are me, I am all. There is no thing to find

Things are not as they appear

I made this, this is who I AM
