We all have goals and dreams. These are intended to bring us joy, peace, and contentment.
There are many of us that sacrifice that joy, peace and harmony in pursuit of the goals and dreams.
We work long hours pursuing them.
We make risky financial investments to achieve them.
We miss family events, and time spent with loved ones.
We lay awake at night, figuring planning, lamenting, worrying, deciding and trying to determine if we’re doing the right thing.
We set these goals and pursue these dreams with the intention of arriving joy from them. In many cases, we can spend year after a year, struggling and toiling before we reached the pinnacle of our success.
How often does it turn out to be anti-climactic?
Do we find that once we’ve accomplished our goal we need another?
We all need to have a purpose and direction. We all need to have passions and interests.
WE ALL NEED BALANCE AND PERSPECTIVE.
