Forgiving others, the world, society, crime, individuals, and ourselves is not a benevolence aimed at the focus of our anger, but a release of us to from the negativity.
This is why it must be complete and final. If we ever revisit the thought we have emancipated ourselves from the debilitating stranglehold the situation had on us.
Continuing to store the situation for random visits keeps the stress alive.
We forgive “them” for ourselves.
Let it go!
