Who Cares?

Most of us have a desire to be liked. It is common to hope that we make a good impression on others. Long, long time ago, I was told that you can please all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but we will never please all of the people all of the time. I’m sure you’ve heard that as well.
One of my favorite self-help speakers, the late Wayne Dyer, always said he lived his life, independent of the opinion of others. he also claimed that what others thought of him was none of his business.
We will never hear people that are busy following their dreams and doing the right thing criticize us, as they are too busy with their own life and agenda.
Those that find the time and the need to criticize us those that are doing nothing worthwhile themselves.
Our authenticity demands that we be true to ourselves, which means they will always be small minded people that will judge us. It doesn’t matter they don’t matter you have to be you.
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” (Dr. Seuss)
