Much of society today is more concerned with their image, what other people think of them, fitting in, and following the crowd, then they are with being true to their convictions and living a genuine life.
When we choose to live concerned about appearances and opinions it is impossible to always make everybody happy. The result will be our continued misery.
In order to truly live in peaceful lives of joy and positive conditions, it is important to be authentic and live according to our own convictions.
You can please all of the people some of the time.
You can please some of the people all of the time.
But you can’t please all of the people all of the time.
So don’t bother trying.
The only ones we need to please is ourselves.
