The vast majority of humanity does not give a second thought to the point or meaning of their lives or life in general. Those that have a natural curiosity, are broken into several different groups. There are nihilists that believe there is no point in anything so attempting to find meaning is also meaningless, absurdists that believes life in the universe is meaningless and to search for meaning puts us in direct conflict with the meaninglessness of life, while existentialism acknowledges that life has no point less the point we give it. I personally feel that all these philosophies may relate to life in the universe on a macro scale, but for the individual, I feel the true meaning of our existence is whatever drives us from within.
Years after each of us are gone, the meaning we created/discovered well once again the pointless, but as we lived, we made a contribution to the melody of the universe.
Do not seek meaning, CREATE IT.
